Episode 1 w/Brady Knippenberg

This is our first podcast post! What you can expect: Each podcast will center around the tasting and discussion of two brews, unique and not at all related to the list we're working off of in our tastings. If you have ever listened to Mike and Tom Eat Snacks, we are utilizing a similar format as their "PER system" -- pick a snack, eat a snack, rate a snack... but with beer. Guests will range from friends to the occasional industry expert. Hit us up if you're interested in talking brews.

If you like what you hear, we will be posting a new podcast episode twice a month, every first and third Monday. We're always on the hunt for new brews to taste. Don't hesitate to send us your recommendations!

Alright, now onto the episode...

We sat down with Brady Knippenberg -- friend, homebrewer and member of the Logan Brewlevard Society -- to chat about his brewing techniques and small-batch beers. If you stick around long enough, you'll get to hear a spirited Harry Caray impression by our very own Jorge Lopez! Holy cow!

Beer Lineup:

  • Pipeworks Brewing Blood of the Unicorn - Imperial Red Ale
  • 3 Sheeps Nimble Lips, Noble Tongue Volume 5 - Double IPA with Ghost Peppers

"Sponsored" by Budweiser - King of Beers

Side note: being that this is our first episode, we did end up going a little long. We hope you find everything we talk about interesting, but we are working on our timing and don't intend to have every episode be as long as this one. Also, you may hear some noise in the background. That is our friend Mark Eisenman cooking his dinner.
